AJ BLUNT PAINTING FAMILY
Tony Blunt (Retired)
Tony first registered AJ Blunt Painting in July of 1982 when he was just in his 4th year off his apprenticeship. He had a strong vision to build a company based on quality results which over the years turned into a reputable business managing over 20 staff. He decided to hang up the paint brushes in 2014 and transition the business over to his two sons.
Tyron Blunt
It was always Tyrons vision to join the family business after seeing his dad create something pretty special. There was no free passes though, Tyron worked hard to complete his apprenticeship after finishing high school at the end of 2005. 18 years later, Tyron is now the Managing Director who is the first contact for our clients and has throughly enjoyed the process of transitioning the business and help it’s continued strong reputation.
Zac Blunt
Zac was no different from his father and brother and was excited to join the family business after finishing high school at the end of 2010. After finishing his apprenticeship it was a natural progression to take on the supervising role which he throughly enjoys. Zac manages our current projects making sure they are on track to be completed to the high standards we have.
AJ Blunt Painting Contractors is a family owned South Australian business, started almost 40 years ago by Tony Blunt.
His sons, Tyron and Zac, have worked their way through the family business over the last 15 years and have now taken over the reigns. Their fresh perspective is reflected through the company’s continual growth.
Starting as a one man domestic painting company, AJ Blunt has grown into a company with excess of 20 full time tradesmen and an impressive commercial and private client list. AJ Blunt is a full service painting and decorating company with a focus on individual service and attention to detail. We produce dramatic results in a personal, professional, and cost-effective manner. Additionally, we are continually researching the latest innovations in finishes and design, ensuring our clients are the first and most informed of new products and services available within the industry.
